Douglas Pollard is an architect with over 30 years of experience directing sustainable community and green building projects. He is currently with CMHC as a senior researcher in sustainable community planning and has won awards of excellence in sustainable design in North America. Doug’s current work at CMHC includes the development of an infrastructure costing mechanism, analysis of existing smart growth communities and participation in community design charrettes. He is an invited lecturer and juror on the subject of green buildings and sustainable communities throughout North American and abroad.
